![]() Let’s challenge ourselves to do better, to be better, so that we become better versions of ourselves. So will you join me and set a new goal this week? It doesn’t have to be a fitness goal, like mine. I’ve resurrected my fitness tracker, restarted one of my favourite healthy lifestyle apps, and set a step count goal and exercise goal in my journal, so that after the lockdown, not just my business will be better and stronger, but my mind and body will also emerge better and stronger too. ![]() I am going to keep them all in one place, in my journal, so that I don’t lose track of what I am doing and avoid overly focusing on one area. I’ve decided to set weekly fitness goals as well as all my other weekly goals. They’re the beginning of a brand new week. But I’ve started liking Mondays more and more lately. The smallest seed of faith is better than the largest fruit of happiness. It’s truethe day that takes away free time and not having to set an alarm probably isn’t anyone’s favorite. No matter how hard the past is, you can always begin again. So, to be bodacious enough to invent ourselves is wise. I’ve realised that whilst I’ve continued to eat healthily, I’ve kind of neglected my physical wellbeing and today I have made a decision to change that and really up my game. If a person does not invent herself, she will be invented. I always try to eat healthily and keep physically active, particularly as my work is very sedentary.Ī healthy lifestyle is important for our overall wellbeing. However, this week I’ve decided to focus on myself as well. I’ve done nothing but knit, crochet, sew, design and brainstorm, with blogging somewhere in the middle. So far, I’ve mainly focused on my business plan…how I want my business to emerge better and stronger after the lockdown. It’s the start of a new week, so it’s the perfect day for a fresh start and a good time to make new goals. Monday is a great day, when you think about it. Monday, often regarded as the most dreaded day of the week, holds a special place in our lives. It signifies the beginning of a new week, and with it comes the opportunity for fresh beginnings. But we should not allow those bad ‘moments’ define our future. We all have bad days, bad weeks and bad months. I still prefer the weekend to some extent, even when we are on lockdown and we are not meeting up for dinner and drinks with family and friends at the weekend, but I’ve now changed my mindset and now I see Monday as a day for a fresh start. Yes, to me, Friday night is when the weekend starts. Its a chance to say so long to the worries and. Turns out the best time to make a change isn’t in the New Year, or at some auspicious date on the calendar the best day to benefit from a true fresh start is simply Monday. By Thursday I’d almost be clock-watching, willing those minutes and hours to pass so that Friday night would finally arrive. But without playing day-of-the-week favorites, the truth is every day really is a chance to start fresh. I couldn’t wait to get to the end of the week.
